the problem i find with sending in a mage in the front line is that you won't always catch ALL the bandar (especially with larger groups), if however you mix in a number of markata you are likely to have the spell shot onto you're bandar until all/most are hit with the spell provided you script it to be cast a few times, with a single mage the spell will stop being spalshed over you're bandars as soon as the mage gets the buff.
