Re: Chronicles_EA: Second-pass Signup and Discussion
As my wiki-fu is weak (and also I have no idea what do do with my little stories, other then just post them in the thread), I'll simply post my Prologue(tm) here and hope someone else does the thankless, back-breaking, unpaid wiki work for me.

The Basalt Kings gathered around the Dark Crystal as they had in ages past, searching for some truth in the near-black clouds in the crystal. Unlike in ages past, on this day, the Basalt Queens had joined the Kings in the great, dark room that held the Dark Crystal, which was not dark or cloudy, but clear and bright, and the Basalt Kings were staring intently not at unclear illusions with murky prophecies, but at one who thought himself a God to the Deep Ones.
"Young one--for young you must be--why do you seek to proclaim yourself the God of the Deep Ones? We are the Kings of the Deep, and no man has had his way in the black gorges where we live and will live."
"No man has had his way in your depths, and no man will have his way if you follow me. I am no mere man; I am a god."
"The Deep Ones have been, and the Deep Ones will be. You have said that you are our only hope, but we have seen into the heart of the Dark Crystal, and the Deep Ones are not destined to die."
"Your shore-dwellers will live, my dear King of the Deep, but the Basalt City will fall. You have seen that, I know. But, know also this--the future is not immutable. Join me, and I promise you, the Basalt City will stand, tall enough to pierce the top of the ocean, and the Deep Ones will survive. Join me, and I promise the Basalt Kings riches beyond belief and time to use the Dark Crystal for peace, not for war; join me and I promise the Basalt Queens dominion over all the world and vast congregations to hear your sermons. Send me away, and your enemies will give you death, and the Basalt City will fall. Refuse me, and the Atlantians will become simply another race to be conquered. Make your choice: live, or die."
Within the day, Atlantians were sent out in every direction to carry the news: All hail Critias, Prince of the Deeps! All hail the new God of the Deep Ones!

Huh, I thought this would be kind of long. It wasn't too long, really.
