You're right, I should have mentioned that too. A conference chat like you said or a private room in IRC are also possibilities. Though with something like that it does require us all to be connected at the same time. In the early phase of the game I'm not sure if we'll need to go quite to that level of organized communication, but it would definitely help when things get going in earnest.
