What I did is actually quite minor and hopefully not too controversial. I'll add a thread for it soon.
I tried out your mod last night, and initial impressions are good. I had to edit it a bit to get the banner to display though. There was a '#' missing in front of 'icon' on line two, and the path was a Windows path (backslashed). To display the banner, I had to make it into a valid command, and change to a Unix path (slashed).
