I'm just glad I was able to pull Oceania back from the brink, and keep from being killed by R'lyeh.
Baalz was right, I just don't see how Oceania can be competitive, especially vs. R'lyeh after turn ~25. Thank god I was able to hold on to an indy Lizard Shaman province, which at least kept the Mind Hunts to a minimum. But having 75% of your commanders microwaved before a battle, then having 1/2 your troops enslaved & the other 1/2 paralyzed before the end of combat turn 2 makes for some rather uncomfortable confrontations. Plus Oceania has no ability to counter raiding, and I was saddled with a truely awful pretender design (who doesn't take Cold-3 as an UW nation!?!) And Janlm's very clever & unpredictable play didn't help my cause one bit!
