Rooster trails are a function of high visibility, map type and season. Nothing to do with batloc. See GG, Release History "What was new for Version 4.0", paragraph beginning "Vehicle Dust Trails.."

If you want to remove rooster trails from a scenario that is showing them (and they can show on roads only or on earth roads only in green terrain), then edit the visibility number downwards.
