Interesting ideas. I generally try to wipe my enemy off the face of the map in every battle, but I think that the situation I'm in currently will provide a challange that I would like to tackle.
I've posted one AAR but it was on something very very different from this current campaign. It was an experiment on a 20X30 map with a company sized force. You can read it here -

I've thought about doing an AAR for this campaign, but it takes me over a week to play each battle (if I'm lucky I can get in a hour a day in the morning), so by the time I'm done, I just so happy to be moving on that I don't sit down and write one. I'll see if I can get it done this time.
A km is 20 hexes. Hex = 50 meters, 1000 meters = km, KM = 20 hexes.
