Well, I can only repeat my observation from the Civ III thread. The first release of everything is a public beta.
I'm hearing more and more
good comments about Civ III now that it has been patched a gazillion times. If they release on their announced schedule -- in time for this Christmas season, that is
-- MOO III will not be really 'done' until next summer, I'd say. And that's plenty of time for major changes. So if you hear a lot of *****ing in the initial reviews, don't completely close your mind to the possiblity it will become a good game later on.
