I swear this is true.

The local library computer was used by a someone of ill repute, and filled with content that is at best questionable to even the most sickest porn pervert, and the individual who download said images, was arrested, and the prosecuting attorney ordered the Library computer that he was using impounded as evidence. The Librarian helped the Police Officer unhook the computer and even held the door for him as he left. He was carrying the entire computer in his right arm.

Two weeks later, the pervert was released from jail do to over crowding, returned to the library within an hour of his release discovered that the police were as dumb as stumps as all they took was the monitor to the computer, and not the computer itself. So our deviant simply hooked up another monitor to the computer rebooted it and did an F-disk to the hard drive.

This was all captured on the Library's monitoring system. Needles to say, our sick (Fat & balding member of our society [insert] shudder [/insert] complete with his thick horned rimed glasses and old folks clothing) was not convicted. You see, you can not convict someone with a monitor alone.

So ya, it would be nice if the Librarians understood at least what a computer is.
