Still, you got to Patala, but never really caused any damage to me. And just stood around while Caelum/Pythium has a huge income and landmass under them? True, we might have been a formidable threat if we had gotten globals up sooner than later and Caelum had not been pretty much my ONLY neighbor. I had a small way of getting to midgÄrd and Gath, who were again allied with caelum/pythium, and Marignon, who again was allied with atlantis, and I had water provinces around my nation, so that would've made me an easy raiding target for them.
Hence, I'll vote for Caelum/Pythium to be the winning team. It's a shame to see Caelum start staling at this point of the game, but I've been pretty much of his victory for at least those 10 turns so far. No competitors have arisen for him. Only one who could probably turtle against him easily is Atlantis. I might stand a chance for a while until major battlefield magics (Shimmering fields, flame storms etc) would start pouring in. Or a horde of sc's (single ones I could defend quite easily against) come knocking my doors. I only have something like (with a bit of forging) 50-100 mages capable of casting disintegrate and maybe 10-15 capable of casting petrify, all scattered around my little splat of land admist of Caelum.
