Ive tried but it doesnt really work very well. I cant even upgrade the Dom2 scenarios I had that did work.
You can put the scenario tag on the map which will make a glowing star appear next to it. That removes the options for certain game settings to be made when starting the game. But those options are not all included in map commands so that the map sets them. Also the scenario tag does not seem to be recognised the same in local games vs network (mp) games. There is a scenario tag for threads so you might try searching on that to find other conversations about it.
All in all the scenario button only removes things and doesnt give anything back. You are better off working with what you can from the other map commands.
