My suggestion is:
RUN WHILE YOU CAN!
Eventually you'll find the proper mix of preferences and tactics that suit you and maybe a couple of PBEM buddies and then you get ADDICTED TO THIS DAMN GAME!!!!
So, run while you can!!!
