I was slightly disappointed by this seasons opener.
**SPOILER**
Where is my action, they promised me action and I don’t see any action! Did you see any action, I didn’t see any action. I saw drama, but very little action.
The President lives and is in a weakened state.
The President has a new love interest, a Doctor no less. (Who I think is deliberately keeping him sick.)
The office politics at CTU are thicker than ever, and now we have Kim Bauer to the mix as an employee and she is in love with Jacks aid.
Then we come to Jack. A drug addict now.
I am optimistic that the story will get good, but I would have enjoyed seeing or knowing a lot more about what happened in the previous 3 years since the Last "one of those days" occurred.
What disappointed me was I was hoping for more action than drama, but what the hell, its 24, I will get my action soon enough.
And the story line around the president that they totally abandoned his assassination attempt in favor of a few words in a speech.
What would have been cool is if the drug dealer was the guy who had originally ordered the nuclear bomb and the attempted assignation the president, and his brother was the one threatening to release the virus that thus far only the president was infected with.
