I'm not sure why the game is shutting down on you, but you know that the game starts up with the mods that were enabled during the last game you played. You sure it doesn't just disable when you disable it in Mod Preferences? I don't know what might be doing that.

As for shutting down, I'm not sure, but do you have all of the component mods from the Libra compilation downloaded? If you don't, it could be whats causing that, but I'm almost sure it'd at least give you an error message.
