Re: RUNNING: First Newbie game, let's discuss how we proceed here
Since this is supposed to be a learning experience, i will share what i just learned in another Newbie game i am playing (Casual EA for busy schedules).
Namely: You can tell a lot about the graphs in the nation statistics.

A few things are suggested (though i could be wrong).

Firstly, TirN'Nog has an awake pretender and is using it to expand. How do i know this? Well, their dominion is way above anyone else's (thus an awake pretender with a strong dominion) and they have 3 provinces instead of 2 like most other players.

Next: Ermor lost its first expansion party. Their number of provinces stayed at 1 but their army size was reduced dramatically. This suggests that the independents (or other player-nation) that they attacked had a stronger army then they expected .

Normally i wouldn't say this sort of stuff but its supposed to be a learning experience and so i thought i would share.

There is more stuff hidden in those stats that can be interpreted and i encourage you to give it a try.
