1) What has changed on your machine. Any new programs installed, like the Avast anti-virus as mentioned in the sticky threads in this and the MBT forums on graphics problems?. Changed your video card or updated your drivers?. (On the rare occasions this happens now on my machine with Avast installed, then a simple reboot of the box usually works to reset the palette).
2) You probably mean the psychedelic screens, where windows sometimes messes with the 256 colour palette. Try the Game Guide -> Tuning Your Machine -> Full Screen Mode section.
3) If it persists, then (if you have the CD version) then simply select
windowed mode. Set the screen resolution to
larger than your screen size (especially with wide screen non standard 4:3 aspect ratio monitors), and it will use the screen size less the windows task bar. Ensure you are
not using the "auto-hide" feature!. Then tune your mouse scroll sensitivity zone for the size of the task bar, if you have problems with the mouse scroll at the bottom of the screen.
