The only idea I can come up with is a B-movie where LA Ermor decides to "cover the world in darkness" but a couple of nations set their differences aside and band their greatest heroes together in an attempt to fight back the hordes of undead(something that their 10K+ armies couldn't accomplish).
The heroes don't like eachother at first, but as they face different trials they learn to love and rely on eachother. Thye manage to kill the bad guy(ta-daaa!) in a badass action scene, blow up his castle and return home for some good ol' celebration.
Nope, Dom3 works best as a game methinks...
