Ulm's nose was bloodied repeatedly by a handful of mages that would not yield a eyelash defending their capital. There became a sense of delicious frustration as repeated castle stormings were turned back by clever tactics. Attrition finally swung the campaign after many failed breach attempts. Then, against all odds, a lone Fomorian scout captured a remote territory single handedly the turn the capital fell. The scout defeated an Ulm commander, swordsman and archer with viscious skill. His name is engraved next to Ulm's own heros in the Capital Hall of Heroes.
