Not only are they exceptionally hard to mass (even in vanilla), which is pretty critical for archers, they're also longbows in LA, where everyone has like protection ~17 on their front line. Jomon can cast flaming arrows, but then you'd rather have easily massed indie archers instead of resource expensive samurai archers, even if they do have shortbows. |
Well they're more durable and can hold their own in melee. I am, however, perplexed why they received a precision nerf in cbm.
