Yes, its difficult. You're trading for front end growth - so hopefully you'll bea large empire.

You will have hordes of dominion killing heretics. Your goal will be to keep dominion low throughout your empire - whether yours or someone elses.

If someone attempts to dom kill you .. you have to preach dominion elsewhere in your empire.. sort of like playing dominion whack-a-mole.

While he plays dominion kill .. Choose the most likely dominion killer neighbor..

As for abysia.... yep, the gigs up if you play next to abysia and can't negotiate a treaty. You pretty much have to go for a hydra strategy at which point....

LA-Ryllah is not a problem so long as you keep him in the water.

On the flip side you'd have pretty good chances at a early rush at niefle in a multiage game - and not many setups can say that...
