The closest you'll get is probably fungalreasons suggestion. What you are looking for is the effect of the item
Lifelong Protection. The magical items have a special attribute which I dubbed "recast rate" which specifies how many times their onebattlespell is being recast per combat turn. The "2 imps" spell that the item uses thus fires every turn. To get that effect on a unit you'd have to copystats one which has the recast rate since there is no modding command for it, but there is no such unit in the game at all.
