Was this info sent to you in private message or email? THAT would have been wrong.
But if you saw it in the game then probably the worst thing you did was post it negligently. It is game info. If you had sold the info, or posted it in an aggressive manner such as "this is what he has and this is where its located", or used it for propaganda purposes then that might have been more game-like
Of course you would have to live with the impression.
