I have no connection to this game, but want to post to say a big "Thank You" to Debaser8 for reporting that he was fighting a potentially staling opponent
A very good sporting gesture indeed, and one that deserves much praise IMO. As it seems to be getting ever rarer in MP games these days
Personally I find it very sad how rare it is that players actually report this sort of thing, as too many seem to prefer getting an unfair advantage fighting stalers or AI's
rather than fight honest hard-fought wars against other players
Or they try to make claim they didn't know their opponent was staling (yeah right, likely story. How is it possible not to notice that your opponent is doing nothing to defend himself turn after turn as you attack freely)
