Yes, it could be.

He gets very upset if I accidentally hurt him. But a few soothing words and all is forgiven.

You should see him when I give him a manicure. He lifts one leg for me to cut his nails and to polish them with a nail file. Then when that foot is finished, he gives me the other leg.

People who see this are quite intrigued as he obviously enjoys it.
