I understand the difference. Marines as captured, and some South Vietnam Scouts as allies. Those marines don't have S.Vietnam's flag, but they have some strange one - plain red with yellow border.
I was able to recreate the problem two more times that day. I even have a save game. I have tried some more yesterday after WinSPMBT restart and everything went fine. |
I just tried this as an experiment.
Set up a 67-71 USMC campaign vs NVA + VC.
Buy USMC core.
Buy ARVN forces as both allies and as captured as the supports in the purchase screen.
All worked as expected. Captured had USMC leaders, stats and ID tags. Allied had normal ARVN data.
The only thing I can think is happening is some sort of data error at your end - perhaps it is worth running a disk scan on your PC and seeing if you have lost clusters etc?.
(I'll presume that you have
not edited the USMC OOB - it is the stock one?)
If that does
not work (after a restart & re-purchase from your previous save point, it wont fix the error you already have) - then it may be worth attaching the save game
