Thanks for putting those up Marmaduke, I also had a lot of fun with the messages :D

The battle you saw, Hylobius, was indeed quite pivotal. Perhaps most importantly it restored my confidence after Marmaduke had conquered most of my provinces. I have to say that being rushed by an elephant nation was my worst fear and having it realized was not very inspiring. However I also have to say that I had been preparing for just that eventuality from turn 1 :) Because of that I had Blade Wind very early in the war. As implied in the blog post, that proved to be my salvation in the big battle and much help throughout the war.
