36 hours is bad as it means host time shifts by 12 hours every time, so people with a schedule(work, school, etc) need to find different times to do their turn each time, instead of reserving a certain period of the day whenever its available to do their turn each time. we're late enough in the game to warrant 48 hour turns anyway, heck some games would be on a 72 hour schedule at this stage in the game... |
I don't understand this reasoning. You would need to submit the turn ASAP, but if you do, you could still play the turn at the same Time of day with an 36 Hour shedule.
Sometimes you would need to wait for the next day, but you could do it, if you want. |
I think what he is getting at is that a lot of us have routines, and Dominions falls at a certain time every day. For example, some of us only have spare time at night, so let's say there is three hours worth of micromanaging; with 48 hours, I can be somewhat relaxed and do 90 minutes a day. With 36 hours, depending on where the time falls sometimes I'd get 90 minutes, sometimes I'd have to dedicate three hours.
