With the plow attachment the LVT isn't amphibious either. Makes them a "bit" bow heavy.
Agreed, I (any may others) MUCH prefer the M14.
So it weighs a bit more, and is a little longer...you can reach out and touch someone at 600m and unlike the 5.56 with a 7.62 you know they're not getting back up.

They still use those silly Sten Guns in the UK?
I fired one once (around 1975) had a devil of a time hitting a man-size target at 50m.
