How often do you play games with visibity set to under 2 hexes???
That's how far that IR unit can see in the dark so it would only be of any use at all if the visibity was set to zero or 1 hex.
As well, The Germans get one (1) unit with TI before the actual end of the war and the rest are "what-ifs" . Note that the STG44 with the Vampire IR is not modeled either, nor will it be.
