In short no, Supracat did however tender the LIMAWS-R MLRS which had completed trials in 2005 which included a CH-47 "sling lift" but the program was canceled in 5/2008 by UK MOD. Let's remember less armor weight here as well.

What hurt the JACKAL from the start was the engine and frontal armor causing an "unbalanced" load. This only got worse with the JACKAL 2 and the JACKEL 2a currently being used as battlefield conditions warranted heavier armor protection all around so helos are out, the C-130 and I believe the C-27J are about as small as you'll get.
