The sad part is that wasn't even the one with +8 penetration... that one you lucked a save against...

My Kings got 17 base MR, with +8 penetration you've barely got a bit more than half chance of getting a kill, assuming I don't have a scout in the province, which reduces your chances by half !
I should have put up some antimagic amulet, which would have reduces your chances to 1/3 or so (and then, only for the guy with +8 penetration).
Still worth it, especially since you've got loads of gems to spare. But I'll counter it, like you countered my seeking arrows !
