Daynarr, I agree, I love AOW for many of the same reasons that I love SE IV. You can play massive multi race games and there is a high degree of support both by the developer as well as the playing commuinity. AOW gives each race more of a unique identity but that is due to the fact that you can not design pieces, you are limited to the complement provided by the designer. Both games reward a "combined arms" approach to attack and defend. I honestly don't know how AOW could be significantly improved from a gameplay standpoint. Any expansion may simply increase the number of races, units, spells and updated graphics/sounds. While I would love such a sequel, I hope that it will amount to much more than this. I guess only time will tell. One thing I was wondering about... how well did AOW sell, or for that matter how well has SE IV done so far? Anybody have any actual sales numbers for either product?
