Some of you might remember me having them appear in some games.

For the first time I managed to notice what seems to be the trigger. Unfortunately since this is an on going PBEM campaign I can't really test it further, but this is what I did.

First turn of a new battle (2nd battle of the PBEM campaign) after deployment.
I am player 1, USA.
I load the game.
Before I give any orders to any of my units, I click on my H and J to check my units. All seem as expected, without any ghost crews.
I click to watch the replay from last turn of the previous battle. The game shows me what happened.
I check again H and J and suddenly I have ghost crews!!!

Here is the file I received. I had to uncompress it and compress it to zip before uploading it here because we use rar.

OK - something to look at, we will see if it gets us any closer.
