Okay guessing here the Version 3 applies to the installer not the software you are instaling which will be version 1 so apply ALL patches. Right clicking on the WinSPMBT.exe icon & selecting properties will most likely show the version number.
The icon in the shape of a tank NOT the game options one that you open the game with.
