If you want to place minefields during the game, there is the option to purchase FASCAM minefields as artillery asset - and cluster munitions can occasionally leave unexploded munitions that form a sort of a minefield.
And if you want to have your engineers blowing up bridges, you can always use the Z-fire key to use them to attack an adjacent hex.
