Well..... lets look at it this way.
The FM24/29 has been in the OOB's for AT LEAST a decade and the Chauchat was added a year or two later. This OOB has had so many revisions by various Finns I've lost count and given how few units actually use it and how little different it is from any LMG that would replace it and consider I
DO have a source that says it was issued in limited numbers ( 100 weapons ----Finland at War 1939-45 By Philip Jowett, Brent Snodgrass ) I'm just going to leave it alone.
