Had a try at this a couple days ago. It's challenging--what with all the VH's--but if you stay patient (especially with those doggone snipers!), use artillery effectively (smoke and bombardment in proper measure), assign forces proportionate to particular objectives, and get a little lucky you CAN get a DV.
Unfortunately I fell short on the first qualification. Impatient over delay around the first objective, I rushed in an armored car to flush out what I thought was a sniper (it wasn't
), and lost another to something unexpected at the next bend. So after half a dozen turns there was only one car left.
Yet I persevered, and took all but one VH. The surviving car was essential in taking two VH's beyond the range of plodding infantry. Had there been more time--or, more to the point, if I had another armored car
--the last VH would have fallen too. Quite entertaining and instructive.
