Wait til the next patch, then do this:

-restrict the mount to the correct hull size (compenhancements.txt)
-restrict the mount to ONLY that component (needs next patch)
-make the mount *reduce the component's size*
-now make the component HUGE, so huge that no ship can use it without using the mount. Instant required mount.
