Thanks for all the tips here folks. I am starting to understand why I just can't seem to get the AI to attack correctly / AT ALL in the USS Bataan scenario I am trying to finish.

Looks like I need to start over... again and make some radical changes. hehe or stop trying to force a Land wargame to simulate what is effectivley a naval engagement.

Just a quick question for clarification: Is it not possible to have AI units appear on the player's "home" map edge?
