I've heard that is the most dangerous drill in the army. I have couple of friends who got scratches in the face for diving when instructing that particular drill. One of them was a lieutenant sr I think when he was instructing. (LT = my friend, Pr = Private, conscript)

LT: Here's your grenade.
(Pr picks a grenade from the Lt Sr)
LT: Now screw in the detonator.
(Pr does that)
LT: Pull the pin.
(Pr pulls the pin and then throws the grenade from right hand to left hand. The lever flies off the grenade.)
LT: Throw it!
Pr: Huh?
LT: THROW!!!
(Pr throws the grenade, LT grabs him by the head pushing him to the trench just in time all the while landing on top of him for additional safety. Grenade goes off, nobodys hurt.)
LT: PRIVATE WHAT THE F*** WAS THAT ABOUT!?
Pr: Sir, I'm left handed.
LT: ...

Ever since that event he always starts the sequence:
LT: Which hand do you use for throwing?
Pr: Huh?
LT: WHICH HAND DO YOU USE FOR THROWING STUFF?!
