Dogscoff, no, much to my chagrin I havn't seen any planetary assaults by anyone.. not even the much vaunted Space Vikings (what pillock called the leader Rollo Dogscoffsonson? - I always change the name to Ikea Smorgasbjord) - this is a personal disappointment for me as ground combat IMHO should be a much more fundamental part of the game.. I think that glassing planets should be Banned for non-bloodthirsty races and bring about diplomatic penalties if one does it - bring on the Federation Space Marines is what I say, all-mighty conquerors of the galaxy
