I was just saying to someone else in a PM that it is the mechanical nature of mid-late game expansion that means I hardly ever finish a game. That and the fact that frequent patches make my savegames incompatible

Anyway, this is another reason I love Proportions- the game speed is slowed down so far as to make it virtually open- ended. It would be really hard to get to the point where the game was "already won".
