a lot of speculation and given us all a clear understanding of the force composition on both sides so IF you suspect this is happening again in the future PLEASE post a save game so we can all look at it.
An "Artillerie Abt" is three batteries of four guns per battery = 12 guns so......

would be 36 guns....each line represents a battery of four guns and 9x4=36 so you had a lot more arty than you thought you did.
