Strv 121 lease ended and the tanks were returned back to Germany for upgrades and resale:

According to quote of Military Balance 2014 in Wikipedia (no original text in my use) there's only 12 left and other notes that I read said some 121's were being converted to engineering tanks Bgbv 120 or used as spare parts for those Leo 2 based engineering tanks.
Before they were storaged to wait for the decision on what to do with them.
