The Gold Version is so far above 1.49 that it is impossible to describe. The game still plays the same, but works very well now. With all the new mods, Fyrons Quadrant Mod, Proportions, and others, the game has a new feel to it that keeps me playing.
For the most part I mainly play my own mod, the Atrocities Mod, not yet released and I doubt it will ever be, using my own custom game settings.
Ya, the Last site was splashed by some guy who thinks Cannon is everything in the Star Trek world. This new site, or old as it has been up now for nearly a year and a half, has been very successfull with nearly 25,000 hits.
Most of the Trek Race that I know of, have been made into actual game races. The others, are minors or neutral races now. (I have something like 14 of them already made up as Neutral races.)
It is good to see you post again, and I hope that you do find the time to play SEIV. I would recommend SEIV Gold to any one who wishes to play SEIV. The game is simply the best on the market in 4 x Gaming.
