Yes it will work with the TDM mod, you just have to rename the 'CompEnhancement.txt' that is already in the Data folder within the modd and place the new 'CompEnhancement.txt' file from my modd into that folder. This way you can change back to the original modd at will.
With other modds it may or may not work, depends on what they (the modder) has included as mounts. (ie, the Devnull mod already has a CompEnhancement.txt that has new mounts that work with specificly with the modd).
{You could always open the two 'CompEnhancement.txt' files and copy/paste what you like/find that works.
