You have to first select a target to be able to use a specific weapon with the W key. The above message appears when your unit hasn't got a target "locked on" so to speak (lower left corner, see if the target is a unit or none). One thing you can do is press the T key, cycle through the targets to the one you want to shoot and press T again. Then, you can use the W key against that target. |
