Played both sides against the AI and you are correct that it can be played from either side.
Things got a bit dicey up north on the defense. It was only the arrival of 2 of the T-55s that turned back the last APCs.
Only thing I noticed was that in the narrative it says that a 120mm mortar was captured but neither side has them.
