The Russian Mi-26M has the largest lift capacity of any helo in the world. Dubbed " HALO" it has a lift capacity of 25,000Kg or 27.5577828 tons, therefore we should have no helicopters flying around with an MBT other then a " very" light tank at best.

DO NOT CONFUSE " TAKE OFF" weight versus " PAYLOAD/LOAD CAPICITY" weight, I should not have to define the difference between the two in this arena.
