The usual dead-on-arrival plane is one where the OOB designer forgot the crew, or some bright spark deliberately made the crew 0 "cos its a drone"...
Had no idea that giving it no hit points had that effect - new on me

It should be 10 and 1, like in the WW2 OOBs.
